4 Types of Civilian Soldiers in 5th Generation Warfare
How Can Ordinary Folks Restore Common Sense in the Fight for Medical Freedom?
Every person reading this was impacted the past three years in unimaginable and immeasurable ways. I’m not just talking about the pandemic death toll. The fallout is beyond the loss of lives from the virus. Marriages ended, friendships were severed, families were torn asunder, businesses were destroyed, and children suffered disproportionately.
As the “two weeks to flatten the curve” grew to weeks, months, and years, the ideological differences on how to respond to the pandemic revealed growing contrast. These schisms were as detrimental to lives and livelihoods – more so as time is showing us - than the virus. Covid fractured society, and in many ways, what was previously considered common sense. (For a biting essay on this, read this blog by New Zealand Doc).
What accounted for the varied responses and beliefs among our neighbors, friends and family?
This question has festered in my mind for the past three years.
In this blog, I share my observations as well as ways for the ordinary person to begin to repair the world, which includes waking our loved ones up from the real misinformation and disinformation campaigns.
Were Politics to Blame?
At first, I presumed the differences fell along socio-political lines. As a (now former, for 30 years) Democrat, I joined my liberal cohorts in mocking Trump when he hailed the use of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine (“what a quack!”) to treat Covid. When he encouraged everyone to get the Covid shots, the blue wave on social media scoffed against “Trump’s vaccine.”
I was unprepared for the turn of face when Biden took office. Almost overnight a shift occurred, one in which vaccines, mandates and lockdowns were embraced with fervor by the left. Anyone who questioned the safety and efficacy was treated with disdain. Liberal celebrities, media, politicians and influencers went into full cancel culture beast mode against those who questioned the protocols.
Orders were clear: Stay home, get vaccinated, stand six feet apart, and wear your damn mask.
I was stumped.
What happened to the party of my body, my choice? Did choice apply only to my reproductive system but not my immune? Where did personal medical autonomy end and medical fascism begin?
Had Fear Hijacked Thinking?
I waited for my community – the Jewish community – to speak out against mandates, passports and lockdowns. Instead, with rare exception, Jewish leadership across my state and the nation lined up behind these controls. Want to go to synagogue? Show your proof of vaccination, or else. Personal freedoms gave way to public shaming, in person, through emails, any number of ways, and such shaming escalated with an almost fervored glee. Most of my friends lined up for their shots.
I felt alone. Never Again was upon us and few seemed to notice.
How could the Jewish community - just decades after the Holocaust - not see the dangerous similarities between covid vaccine passports and the gesundheitspass of Nazi Germany?
Children as a Shield for Society?
The justification for vaccinating (but not mandating) at-risk adults made sense on the surface, though I had my concerns due to the absence of long term safety data and the circumvention of normal drug development and testing protocols.
As a mother, I was vexed by the push to mask and vaccinate children.
With a childhood survival rate of 99.9%, Covid posed a very limited risk to healthy children (and most adults). Drowning kills more children a year than Covid, yet no one was suggesting we shut down pools across the nation.
The effort to vaccinate children was creepy to me in an inexplicable way; as an adult, it was my job to protect my children, not the other way around. Surely, this was a parental rights issue too. I didn’t want to co-parent with my government. Besides, if a vaccine worked it should protect the recipient regardless of those around them. At least this was how vaccines had been defined for decades.
Then again, even the definition of a vaccine was watered down during Covid. Prior to 2015 a vaccine was defined as “preventing disease”; after 2015 the definition changed to “produce immunity”; during Covid that definition was changed to “produce protection.”
At the same time the mainstream media, governmental agencies and political leaders overwhelmingly hailed the Covid vaccines as safe, effective and preventative. This was some high level doublespeak. As someone with a background in the sciences, including research, I was seeing glaring warning signs.
Nothing about the pandemic made sense.
The Heroes that Caved
In the beginning, doctors and nurses were front line workers hailed as heroes. Then the mRNA shots were introduced as well as mandates. Few health providers spoke publicly against the one-size-fits-all approach.
Those that questioned the protocols were vilified (examples include Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Scott Atlas, Dr. Ryan Cole, and many others).
Some countries were far more authoritarian than others in imposing vaccine mandates – Australia and Canada come to mind – and some states in the USA were heavier handed than others (including my beloved California).
“I was just as afraid to die as anyone but equally alarmed by a future where liberty – the core principle of our country’s founding - was sacrificed for the illusion of safety.”
What had happened to “Informed Consent” and the Hippocratic Oath of “First, Do No Harm?”
I have a background in pharmaceutical sales (12 years selling cardiovascular products). Once upon a time doctors were keen to use repurposed drugs with known safety profiles. Why was Covid care different? Why the official narrative AGAINST ivermectin, vitamin D and other known therapeutics and FOR experimental gene therapy?
I suspected the ugly, ugly answer was “follow the money”.
Parallel Universes
Health was being used as an excuse to cause the absence of health.
Humanity’s path had splintered in unrecognizable ways. Secretly, I wondered if we were being subjugated by an evil greater than I could fathom, a modern day final solution of ungodly proportions. (For an eloquent article on the evil of the past three years, read Naomi Wolf’s blog).
I was just as afraid to die as anyone but equally alarmed by a future where liberty – the core principle of our country’s founding - was sacrificed for the illusion of safety.
“Those who hold the line, hold the future.”
What kind of war had we all been drafted into? Because it was beginning to feel very much like we were at war with an unknown enemy and without a clear path toward de-escalation for which few of us had proper military training.
I’m not a soldier.
I am a GenX mom of two with an inner science geek. I could make sense of the science better than the average lay-person, but intellect alone didn’t account for my overwhelming misgivings.
How was I supposed to protect my family in a world gone cray-cray?
Civilian Soldiers at War
This wasn’t just a pandemic; this was a global psyop assault targeting ordinary folks. We - you, me, and everyone we love – were civilian soldiers unknowingly drafted into a war masquerading as a pandemic (which is not to say that many didn’t die from, or with Covid).
What about the battlefield? It wasn’t some bloody, dirty destroyed place over there, but within our minds, schools, and communities. At stake were our lives, livelihoods and liberty. There’s a name for this kind of warfare: 5th generation (5GW).
When I first heard that term, I scoured the internet for information. As suspected, 5GW forgoes weapons and bullets and wages war on our perceptions, beliefs and biases. Technology, misinformation, and social media manipulation…all were taking place in a conflict that spanned globally.
En masse, we were collectively frightened into submission into doing as we were told, deny our own common sense, and forgo our own innate intelligence.
Not everyone complied with the same degree, however. Caught in the grey zone between civilian life and military tactics I began to see patterns in how people responded.
The “I Trust Government” Group
The first wave of vaccine enthusiasts strongly trusted government and scientific agencies. Some were ardent consumers of mainstream media and believed the narrative that Covid was deadly for almost everyone. Data to suggest otherwise - for example, that healthy children had a survival rate greater than dying from a bee sting, or that those who died from Covid were over 70 or had multiple co-morbidities - didn’t alleviate their fears. As soon as the vaccines were rolled out, they rolled up their sleeves for the shots, either from trust of government, fear of Covid, or both.
The “I want to do Good” Group
Incentives and a desire to do good for society drove the next wave of vaccine adopters. Some of the “soft coercive tactics” included things like free fries for children, gift cards from employers and massive vaccine clinics giving out free shots. Other reasons that compelled this group to get vaccinated included a desire to travel, watch a ball game, or visit family, for example. The rallying cries of “protect your neighbor” and “trust the science” compelled this group. They jumped for “carrots” and a sense of “doing good” for society.
The “I Hate Sticks” Group
The third group rejected carrots. This group by and large held out against getting vaccinated, as they opposed mandates and lockdowns, and had a strong distrust of government, media and/or the mainstream narrative. Many doubted the science, questioned the safety and efficacy. Ultimately, they were stuck between a rock and a hard place, and were forced to get the Covid vaccine because of financial, personal or familial pressure. They unwillingly succumbed to vaccines under threat of retribution of some kind. Sticks broke their backs.
The “Do Not Comply” Group
The final group refused to get a Covid vaccine under any circumstances. In the United States, this accounted for about 20% of the total population; in my state of California, 84.6% got at least one shot, so even fewer held the line. Maligned as selfish, stupid, uncaring or worse; declared by many that they deserved to lose their livelihoods or lives; treated like social pariahs, this cohort held an important line. Labeled “anti-vaxxers” regardless of their history with vaccines, they refused to comply.
It’s this group that withstood the psyop in this 5th generation warfare despite the widespread attacks on their intellect and morals.
This demarcation will prove to be more important as the world awakens. Those who hold the line, hold the future.
Gaslighting and Hypnotizability
As I began to correspond and connect with other “anti-vaxxers,” I wanted to find out what made us different from the other segments of society.
It wasn’t political. I met as many former liberals as I did traditionally conservative citizens.
It wasn’t intellectual.
It wasn’t a lack of empathy. Everyone believed they were doing the right thing. We were all afraid, caring, and wanted the best for ourselves and loved ones. We just differed on what actions would be best.
So what accounted for our refusal to comply? I suspect two traits: a history of high personal trauma and low hypnotizability.
In my case, I was married to someone who was emotionally abusive and gaslit me for years; this left an indelible mark on my internal radar. I was and have been hyper-tuned to tactics and control and manipulation given my prior relationship experience.
In hindsight, I may owe my former spouse a debt of gratitude for the raw lesson in mental and emotional abuse. That experience taught me to feel the signs of manipulation, even if I couldn’t always articulate my concerns.
Gut feeling is a powerful rudder when you head its warning.
“If this is a battlefield in the mind, the hand-to-hand combat will be your words and courage to reach those still under the influence of the Covid mistruths.”
And the warnings were abundant: from the vitriolic attacks on dissenting doctors and journalists who questioned the mandates; the parroting of government talking points across the media landscape; cancel culture on social media; the misrepresentation of risk of Covid; and the downplaying of the risks associated with the vaccines.
When I began to speak with others in the do not comply group, it turned out they had often experienced manipulation or loss in their personal lives in ways that activated a high trauma response to the pandemic. One woman suffered a medical injury from another vaccine and was highly suspicious of the medical community. Another’s family fled the former Soviet Union and didn’t trust heavy handed government policies. Several had been married or in prior relationship with narcissistic types and recognized the signs of being played.
The other commonality I found among the do not comply cohort was lower hypnotizability. Personally, I find the Vegas-style shows where people began to act like dogs under the suggestions of a hypnotist demeaning, even if such behavior is funny. It turns out that a small subset of society (about 5%) can’t be hypnotized, while 10% are highly susceptible to hypnosis.
Anecdotally, what I found from dozens of conversations with contacts and friends who refused to get vaccinated was also a strong repulsion for being hypnotized or mentally manipulated. I attended one mentalist show in my lifetime, and have refused to go to anything like it since.
On a larger community scale hypnosis can occur too. In this case it’s called Mass Formation Psychosis. (For more on this topic I refer readers to Professor Mattias Desmet’s book, The Psychology of Totalitarianism).
There may be additional traits common among those who adamantly refused to go along with the agenda. I’d love for readers to share their thoughts in the comment section.
What’s the solution?
With that said, here is my outline for how you, an ordinary civilian soldier, can make a difference in waking others up. Make no mistake – that is the task presented to each reader of this blog. If we are in a battlefield in the mind, the hand-to-hand combat will be your words and courage to reach those still under the influence of the Covid mistruths and distruths.
1. Know your audience.
Not everyone is ready to wake up yet. The one’s most likely to listen to you are the vaccine hesitant, the ones who were forced to get a vaccinated, or those who had a negative reaction.
These people are beginning to get angry if they aren’t already. They were pressured, forced and coerced, and now they’re seeing that the vaccines weren’t just ineffective; they caused harm in some cases.
2. Choose your battles.
Those who believe the mainstream narrative will scoff at you at this time. More data must come out in order for them to begin to see how society has been deceived. Until then save your breath for those who are already questioning and engage in dialogue with those ready to see beyond what the mainstream media is messaging.
3. Be strategic in your conversations.
As they say in marketing, success lies in giving the right message at the right time for the right audience.
The goal isn’t to convince someone to think like you; the goal is to help them question the Covid pandemic narrative for themselves. We were all subjugated to the global gaslighting. Pointing out examples that lead to critical thinking is essential.
4. Stay informed.
Be sure to find alternative, reliable sources of news and stay informed. You don’t have to have all the answers in the files in your mind, just be able to access and share them when give the opportunity to do so.
5. Find your tribe.
It’s important to have a social group that shares your point of view. I stumbled upon this when I wrote an angry email to a charity group and sent it to all members. I went from thinking I was the only one who was worried to discovering that many others shared my concerns. I now have a circle of friends and virtual contacts around the globe, and just knowing we are united helps me stay strong when I’m feeling exhausted by the insanity of it all.
6. Speak your mind.
Don’t underestimate the power of speaking out. Not everyone has a large platform (I certainly don’t), but you will find yourself in a situation where you can plant a well chosen statement that elicits critical thinking in others. Take those moments and find the courage to speak up.
These observations and suggestions are made to the best of my ability as an educated, concerned citizen. On that point, I think it’s time we recognize our own innate intellect and acknowledge that experts do not always have the answers. Each of us is endowed with certain unalienable rights and abilities, including common sense, and introspection and critical thinking skills.
Use them, or lose them, soldier.
The same could be said about our freedoms, if we aren’t willing to take a stand. That’s a battle worth fighting, in my book and for our collective futures.
A very good read on just how much the I will not comply group withstood. https://newzealanddoc.substack.com/p/to-all-you-latecomers-to-the-party
I think your readers will find this interesting. I had a planned trip to Thailand, February 2020.
In January the news was coming out that Covid-19 was killing people in Asia. My co traveler, a nurse contacted the CDC as well as the head of infectious diseases at her hospital group. Here is what they told us in January 2020: if you get it while in Asia, you will not die, take antiviral, prednisone and Azithromiacin with you and start taking if you get symptoms. We filled these prescriptions, bought some N95’s for the plane and had a wonderful trip. A doctor friend also recommended we start immediately taking Vitamin D and Zinc to get our immune systems up!
Thus, I was very aware of the duplicity when watching the Covid task force reports from our government. Early treatment would have saved lives and they knew it!!
